Marine Bio 101 Snorkel in Mission Bay

Mission Bay offers an outstanding snorkeling experience suitable for individuals of varying levels of expertise in snorkeling and swimming. Our snorkel adventure will take place in the tranquil and smooth waters at the entrance of Mission Bay, which is in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. In this location, you'll have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of marine life, from fish to numerous invertebrates such as sea stars, urchins, and octopus.

Snorkel La Jolla Shores

La Jolla Shores boasts remarkable biodiversity and serves as a habitat for non-threatening leopard sharks. This location provides us the opportunity to encounter a variety of marine species, including fish, invertebrates, and occasionally, the presence of a sea turtle!

It is important to note that this snorkeling site is not appropriate for non-swimmers. Since this an ocean-based snorkel with occasional strong waves and currents, only strong swimmers are allowed to participate.
